Group 2 / GiroDisc Brake System for Alfa Romeo
We have developed our own G2/GiroDisc Brake System for the Alfa Romeo V-6 transaxle cars and are presently prototyping a brake kit for the 105/115 cars.
Group 2 Motorsports and GiroDisc have developed a lightweight, two-piece rotor, 4-wheel brake set for the Alfa Romeo V-6 transaxle cars. A larger Track day and race proven, these brakes have two piece aluminum hatted vented rotors front and rear. Options include larger front systems for cars with 17" wheels, outboard rear systems, and dual, non-boosted, master cylinders with balance bar.

This is an interesting book, as it is specific toAlfa's "quirky but characterful" Berlinas. This book covers the Alfa saloons/sedans from the early 1900s through the 166: published by Veloce Publishing PLC, in 2000.

Sector 111 / GiroDisc Brake System for the Lotus Elise and Exige
Group 2 is a dealer for Sector 111, which specializes in performance equipment for the Lotus Elise and Exige. For these cars, we stock the replacement brake rotors, designed and made for Sector 111 by GiroDisc. The Lotus in stock form utilizes the same rotor on all four corners. Cooling is efficient on the passenger side - not so on the driver's side. The Sector 111 design incorporates not only the lighter weight aluminum hat, but is designed for a left side and a right side application. We also stock the Ferodo DS2500 brake pads for this car.

Group 2 Motorsports is a warehouse distributor for Ferodo Racing brake pads. We inventory pads for Alfa Romeo, BMW, Subaru, Porsche, Mini, and various other applications. We can supply most pads listed in Ferodo Racing's application guide. Current inventory includes primarily the DS2500 and DS3000 (being replaced soon by the DS1.11), but we have access to all of the Ferodo Racing compounds.
Ferodo DS2500 continues to be by far the most popular choice of the high performance road and track day market. DS2500 is now the standard material supplied by most of the top after-market brake kit suppliers. It provides an excellent balance of improved stopping power, feel, release, and wear which is unbeatable in these applications.
Ferodo recently introduced the DS1.11 and DS2.11 brake pads which utilize their exclusive Siloxane Technology. This new material will eventually replace the DS3000 and DS3000+3.
